am si eu o curiozitate.Am cautat pe net dar nu am gasit nimic concret.Ce face optiunea "Screen refresh rate" de la monitor?Trebuie setata mereu pe valoarea maxima?Am vazut pe net ca multa lume spune de 75-100hz dar eu am doar 50, 59 si 60.O zi buna

CRT: E recomandat sa nu folosesti rate de refresh mai mari decat cele recomandate de producator la rezolutia respectiva. La ecrane mai mari de 17, e recomandat cel putin 85Hz (sub 15 nu deranjeaza nici 65-75Hz), chiar 100 daca poate monitorul.

La LCD, nu exista rata de refresh, exista response time, care inseamna cat de repede poate monitorul sa aduca un pixel de la negru la alb si inapoi la negru, adica viteza de iluminare.

La televizoare e 50Hz (PAL-SECAM) si 60Hz(NTSC). Practic, ar putea fi mai mare, dar standardele au fost create in anii '20, cand tehnologia nu permitea rate de refresh decat egale cu frecventa tensiunii de alimentare.

ok si daca la laptop am 3 optiuni, 50 59 si 60 pe care este indicat sa o folosesc?

Depinde de monitor, eu pe CRT folosesc 75 si in unele jocuri trec la 85 ca sa nu ma usture ochii.

Pe 17" folosesc 75hz in desktop si Counter-Strike si in alte jocuri spre exemplu Talisman online folosesc 85hz cu o rezolutie de 1024x768.

Pe CRT daca pui te ustura ochii, sau poate asa te-ai obisnuit, in fine, acum depinde si ce monitor ai, cat suporta monitorul dar si placa video
